Endoral radiography is a very useful radiological examination in the field of dentistry, which is performed to obtain information regarding the specific area of the oral cavity( at most two or three teeth).
The procedure is carried out with the support of a plate, placed on a plastic support, which must be bitten by the patient. Then, a specific device is used that, once placed on the cheek, emits radiation directed at the plate.
In a few seconds, the images of the area of interest will appear on the computer screen.
Endoral radiography is entirely painless, and the patient will be protected from radiation by appropriate devices.
